It has long been known that a Mediterranean style diet is good for you.
But there is now overwhelmimg evidence that it is also good for your unborn baby
fighting against cancer, heart disease and all sorts of other things, too.
In Northern latitudes we seem to eat more of the things that are bad for us
and as a result we suffer from heart disease, cancers etc. etc.
By changing the way we eat and by drinking more water we can reverse our diet
and climate caused diseases. In the warmer areas of the planet people
drink much more water than we do in the colder areas. I believe that this
has a beneficial effect on our bodies, thinning the blood and flushing toxins,
such as salt, from our bodies.
I heard a Doctor on TV a few weeks ago state that water seems to have no
beneficial effect on the body, drinking tea, coffee and juice is enough.
Why is it then that when I stop drinking 2 litres of water each day my legs
and joints start to ache??
Back to the point, which is," WE ARE WHAT WE
EAT" and we can add "DRINK" to that. Fizzy drinks have been linked to a possible cause of cancer of the gullet, so restrict yours and your childrens fizzy drink intake. Reducing fizzy drink intake will also cut tooth decay. "WE
ARE WHAT WE EAT AND DRINK" If we eat more fruit and
vegetables, drink more water enjoy a couple of glasses of wine we probably will
live longer. We can still enjoy a little of the things we know aren't good
for us (everything in moderation) and we can have a wonderful and fit life. If
